Authorize and indemnify Singapore Wine Vault Pte Ltd to receive the imported goods on your behalf and to sign off on cargo clearance permits.
From the point of import, we will manage your inventory and stock movements.
Follow Import Procedures
Singapore Customs requires the CIF value to be declared in the customs permit for Duty / GST calculation. CIF refers to cost + insurance + freight.
GST is levied at 9% of the CIF (cost, insurance and freight) value, which includes duties and other charges, as well as costs and expenses incidental to the sale and delivery of the goods into Singapore.
Register Your Business
All businesses and companies in Singapore must register with ACRA.
Requirements:
- A Singapore Resident Director.
- A Singapore Bank Account.
- A Registered Singapore Local Address.
Obtain the Relevant Licenses
- Apply for an SFA license through e-Services (sfa.gov.sg)
- Apply for SPF Wine Licensing / Liquor Licensing for Sale through the police website (police.gov.sg)
- Apply for Interbank Giro Application Form to SG Customs (customs.gov.sg), and you will receive a letter from SG Customs confirming the IBG application approval (requires 1-2 weeks processing time)
- Login to Trade Exchange to authorize Singapore Wine Vault Pte Ltd as the declaring agent.
